Which came first Chicken or Egg

I loved the 3 first Bourne Films. I know, I know, this is the wrong Reddit to post that in etc.

My question is, which Franchise included the possibility of an online Virus first or warfare-espionage via Tech?

Wasn't it in Skyfall that Think On Your Sins shot or when the MI6 Computers get hacked?

The latest Bourne, which I liked but didn't love, dealt with what seemed like a Head of a Big Tech company type purposely writing it into major Software that something would go wrong.

Help me please sort this out

Thanks
