I was almost kidnapped

When I was 11 (M) my school had swimming classes..which we weirdly had during winter so instead of my bike I would take the bus every time we had swimming. And that day it was around 4pm and already dark. I just got off the bus and had a 15 minute walk to my house. After getting off the bus I walked not even 5 minutes until I stopped in my track just as I was taking a quiet street. I saw a small red car, it looked kinda old and I couldn’t see the liscense plate because the trunk was open. There was nothing inside the trunk and it was completely clean. Something in my gut told me to stop as I saw the two men standing by the open trunk. One holding the trunk door with one hand and the other just standing there. They both stared at me intensely. I remember their white hair looking like some movie science teachers hair. They were both wearing dirty white tank tops and their arms looked rather slim. One of them had a white eye patch over their right eye. They looked old and their hair looked fake because it was as white as snow. My child self just stopped and looked at them and the man with the hand on the trunk door looked around while the other one had taken a step towards me asking me if I wanna drive with them. I didn’t say anything remembering the “don’t talk to strangers” I ignored them even. I acted like I just remembered something turned around and ran as fast as I could with my school bagpack till I saw a mother and her son so I tried to catch up with them staying close. I didn’t tell anyone because I was ashamed and scared not even my father.I can’t find anything to them online so I wrote it off as paranoia for years but now I cannot stop thinking about them. And their faces are shown constantly inside my head.

I don’t know what I’m trying to get at here. I’m kinda asking for help, reassurance and explanation. I never saw the car or them again. Was I just judging on looks? Because people like that don’t live in the neighbourhood I grew up.
