I like CCW2 better than Season 1

CCW is a cooking show, hence I tend to focus more on the process of cooking rather than “how fun” the challenges each round are. Last season, Tofu Hell was my favorite because it amazingly showcased the thought process that goes into cooking of all the remaining chefs. Restaurant challenge was meh. Groups won because they had the best strategy, but I didn’t like how they had to remove one team member per group to create an entirely new team and was disadvantaged throughout the challenge. Also cooking straight for 24 hrs? Nonsense. Chefs from the groups who didnt won was chosen because of leadership which was unfair imo. For the convenience store challenge, while the concept was new and fun, i wished they had focused more on the cooking process itself.

This season, I enjoyed seeing the process of how the chefs cook and the reason behind why they chose the main ingredient or why they chose to cook it a certain way. It really showcased the uniqueness of each chef and how they are masters of their own craft. It’s similar to the top 9 dish of my life challenge last season. Another fave episode with the tofu hell challenge.
