How to use coral blocks and fans as ceiling decorations without them dying and without having water dripping?

I am trying to make a nether room with some fire coral blocks and fans as ceiling decorations. I can keep them alive with water or waterlogged blocks but that causes water to drip from them, throwing off my nether vibes. Any suggestions?
