Would you do a low deck or a concrete patio?

Here's our old rotted deck. I would like to make it larger to extend our small homes entertainment space to the outside. Torn between some pros and cons of deck vs patio:

Low wood or composite deck:

-could rot out cause it's low and not gonna get a ton of airflow? :(

-matching to our interior floor would look super nice :)

-things can live under it (plenty of rats and waterbugs in my area) :(

-no step, can just walk straight out onto it :)

-DIYable? :I

-Can't have a firepit on top? :(

Concrete patio:

-low maintenance :)

-requires a step or two down from the back door :(

-cost friendly :)

-just ok looking :I

-compatible with firepit or a hot tub :)

Could use some objective advice...
