Speed has spoiled us all....

I was debating on upgrading my storage as I just realized my mobo has a second NVME slot on the back. In this endeavor, given how much storage has gone up in price I was debating whether or not it'd be worth it to get a larger size and reinstall windows onto one of the NVME drives, as I currently have it on a SATA drive and use the NVME drive for games (for organization reasons). I kept trying to look up if it was worth it and everyone online was like "oh yeah I can INSTANTLY tell if I'm using a PC that relies on SATA vs NVME, the speed difference is so blatant!" so I checked out some benchmarks and in EVERY SINGLE ONE the difference in speed was 5 seconds or less max...

I'll probably get downvoted for this but has everyone's brain been rotted by AI generated tiktok videos with subway surfers playing in the corner?!?!?! I don't know about you but unless you work in an artistic field, or somewhere you're constantly exporting files to where even milliseconds make a difference on your workflow, this genuinely does not matter. can you not wait 3-5 EXTRA SECONDS to load into your OS?!?! maybe I'm just jaded because i only got a proper modern gaming PC around 2 years ago, and before that I had an HDD which was slow enough to actually read the "helpful tips" section on loading screens multiple times over.

I feel like an old man shouting at the sky even though I'm only in my early 20's "YOU KIDS THESE DAYS WILL NEVER KNOW WHAT IT WAS LIKE TO TURN YOUR COMPUTER ON, LEAVE TO GO MAKE A COFFEE, AND COME BACK TO IT STILL IN THE PROCESS OF BOOTING UP!!!"
