[US] multiple charity thank you Packages being sent to me

I'm not sure if it's a scam or some kind of mistake. It appears that someone has been donating to all kinds of charities under my name and within the past few months I've been getting packages with free stuff inside. Gloves, calenders, notepads, flags, stickers, beanies, bookmarks, pens, flashlights, etc.

Some of the charities include, environmental defense fund, St Jude children's research, Nepal Buddhist association, Arbor Day foundation, world wild life fund, Dog adoption agencies, etc.

I get some charities send free stuff without any donations given, but for them all to come at once? Is it normal? My husband or neighbors don't get this much mail either.

They only have my name and address, no emails or calls. No charges are on my accounts. A friend told me sometimes it's how the mafia hides it's money laundering, someone else said it could be a prank.

Is this some kind of scam? Should I be worried? Should I call these charities to see if any donations were made under my name? Or is it safe to leave it alone and accept all the free stuff? TIA!
