confused between science and commerce which to continue
I’m currently in Class 11 (going to Class 12) with PCM. I enjoy physics, math, and conceptual problem-solving, and I like understanding systems deeply rather than memorizing rules. But due to some distractions and other stuff....i lost touch from science and am thinking that if commerce should have been my thing
In the long term, I’m interested in the quantitative/financial side (like markets, models, algorithmic trading, etc.) and eventually I’d like to start my own business. Because of the word “finance,” I sometimes feel that commerce might be a more direct or practical path — which is why I’m confused whether sticking with science is actually the right choice.
I’m not aiming specifically for traditional engineering jobs(in the long term). I’m trying to choose a stream that gives me the best foundation for quant/finance roles and entrepreneurship later.
For people who’ve done science, commerce, or switched between them — which stream do you think is better suited for someone with my interests? What are the pros/cons I might be missing at this stage?
Would really appreciate any advice or personal experiences.
