[Kizi games] [Late 2000s-2010s] [“Echo” 2d plant life cycle flash game]
Hey guys,
I’ve been really stuck trying to find this one game that I used to replay all the time trying to survive, but now I’m not quite sure if I was meant to.
I used to play it in the late 2000s on kizi games I’m pretty sure. I remember it being called echo/ecco/eco or something along the lines of that, very short title name. There is no narration and I don’t think the character talks either. It is a 2d game and is peaceful and there is no enemies but there is a couple peaceful characters but i dont think you can interact with them. I think the meaning of the game describes the life cycle of nature or something, hence why I always died at the end. You play as this brown dirt character who is shaped like a human and has a big oval head with two big eyes and a green leaf sticking out of the top of its head. He lives on like a tree stump I think and his house is surrounded by a dome of leaves and each day when you go to sleep and wake up the season may change and the leaves will fall off the branches. I think it also has like a day counter to see how many days you can survive. There is one day you walk to go grocery shopping and walk back home with some shopping bags. I’m pretty sure you go home and eat too, but I don’t remember having to physically grab groceries. When you die, I remember it feeling very peaceful and the screen just asks you if you’d like to play again. The colour scheme was forest green, dark green and dark browns and not much else, very simple. The vibe of the game was also very quiet, peaceful and a little mysterious due to the colour scheme and lack of dialogue.
This is what I can remember, but feel free to ask me any questions, they may stimulate something in my memory. Sorry if it is vague, I really tried! I also have a drawing of what the character looks like but I can’t post it here so maybe I can put it in the comments.
Thankyou!!
