Making the game more complex isn't appealing to new players

i get that aspects are a cool way to make the game more deep, is like creating a new god just by twiching a few things here and there.

now, as a former smite 1 player and smite 2 player currently, from time o time i invite friends to play the game. Smite, without the aspects, was already a hard game to learn while someone is helping and guiding you... let alone people who joins the game and has no one to help them.

i see a lot of people playing with aspects, without a clue of how that changes the god, like Ra aspect going mid full damage.

in the scenario where we eventually get the 100+ gods plus their aspect, we are talking about 200 gods with similar kits which is just more confusing in the end.

while some aspects improved gods, in which cases i wouldn't mind reworking the god in that way, if every god could go any role, doesn't that make the particularities of that god to fade away?

just thinking how to make the game more appealing to new players
