Should i buy the Macbook air m4 now or 1 year later?

Hey guys im thinking of getting the macbook air 13" M4 for my CS Major which starts end of 2026. I compared it with few other competitors with windows (Lenovo, Asus ...) Im living im germany, where we had the Macbook air für 799€. I lost that deal (Black Month Deals). Now it is 899€, the price keeps growing. Should i wait until i will start the major, with a fresh new Macbook? Or is the price going up again? I cant predict apples price development.

The Macbook air m4 edition is a perfect machine for me. I wont really need that m5 upgrade if the price difference is high. A better screen would be nice but not crucial. Oled/Miniled with 90-120hz.

If i look at the m3 version, it is not cheaper. I am scared paying more for the m4 as i could now. But i also dont need a computer/notebook until my studies begin. It would be sitting in my drawer for 8 Months.
