Please help me decide!

I’ve narrowed my choice down to LG C5 or Samsung S90F. I’d like to say I’m toying with G5 vs S95F but I’d rather not spend £2K, really my limit is about £1600. I will be using it for streaming services, standard definition virgin channels and PS5 base model.

I currently have a 2019 55” Samsung something that I bought in 2020. I think I need a 65” as I sit 2.9m from the screen, would like larger but it would overshoot my budget. My room is not bright, not dark, I do suffer with glare in mid afternoon but my main usage time is 8pm onwards and I have black out curtains so not really an issue.

Please tell me, do I go Samsung or LG? Am I being realistic with budget? Should I fork out more for a larger size given the distance? Am I being stupid to not spend £400 more for the better models? Rtings has pros and cons for both but I’d like to hear a variety of opinions! Thanks in advance.
