YSL croc embossed compact wallet durability

Hi everyone. I have been looking for a small compact practical luxury designer wallet for some time now, and fina decided on YSL croc embossed bifold wallet which I recently purchased from Saint Laurent boutique directly. I absolutely love the wallet, I think it looks elegant and practical for daily use. I did mention to the SA that I was looking for a daily use wallet that will be forgiving in terms of regular dings. She recommended croc embossed one saying that leather is extremely durable. Does anyone have any experience with this kinda leather from YSL and if so how is regular daily wear and tear been? Can it really take a lot of daily abuse ? I do not really baby my wallets/handbags so getting something that is super durable and easy to maintain is very important to me, especially when paying so much $$$ for a wallet. Any experiences is greatly appreciated.
