Carbone Riviera Solo Dining

🍔 Food

Big fan of Carbone and recently seen a video on Carbone Riviera at the Bellagio which looks amazing.

Ive seen some people say they reserved a seat for solo dining in the dining room etc. but on seven rooms and on resy I am only seeing minimum party of 2 for reservations (I'm looking in January). Can anyone confirm they've dined solo and if so, did you just book for a party of 2 people and then showed up as one? Was a table for 1 available for you at time of booking? If so, how far in advance did you book, what date was your visit? Did you set up Resy alerts?

The reason why I ask is, I've always used Resy for the NYC location and I've gone to the Carbone at Aria a couple times through seven rooms reservations but the most recent trip I was solo following advice to just walk-in and they gave me such a hard time as solo diner (host couldn't seat me at all in dining room, back and forth with the bartenders getting denied multiple times and told they didn't have room for the rest of the night or following nights) that I just booked a whole table for 4 on Resy (no other options available) just to show up alone a couple hours later for my reservation and was promptly seated in a practically empty restaurant. I obviously won't be doing walk-ins ever again with Aria but should I expect the same from the newer Bellagio location?

TL;DR: Looking for any anecdotes of solo diners who've tried out Carbone Riviera at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. How was your experience booking a reservation and dining solo? Please leave any details you think may be important.

PS I don't care about going to another restaurant or about how off the strip theres the best Italian food for only $2 or your great-grandmothers homemade pasta, this post is not about that. Thanks.
