Is there hope for consoles mods support?

I've been a long time fan of this game but I took a break for more than a year so there would be more new content when I return but in the meantime I've been playing other games like stalker 2 and bethesda's Skyrim and fallout games I have come to realize slowly that mod support is becoming more common with well name industries like the people who made Arma and currently working on arma forger have mod support for console and now stalker 2 while the first which I think has done it was Bethesda with fallout 4 and Skyrim so do this mean us console players have a better chance now to have mod support for stellaris?
