Advice For New Reader About to Catch Up

Hey all.

I'm just starting Dressrosa, and I started One Piece around when the Gen Z protest movements were headline news. While it's become clear to me that I enjoy One Piece the best when I'm able to read an arc all in one go (or just many chapters at once), I get the sense that I would catch up before Elbaf wraps up.

For those of you who like to be up to date on One Piece but prefer to wait until arcs are complete, how do you functionally do that? Do you set a reminder alert for yourself in--say--a year to check in on whether the arc has finished? Do any of you prefer to just wait for volume releases?

I'm flexible on different strategies here. The only thing I don't want to do is read one chapter every week as they come out. Since this is my first manga, I probably don't have the instincts many of you have built up through experience.
