26 Gen 3 Upper or Conversion barrel?

I recently bought a gen 3 27 from GtDist but I found it way too snappy for my liking. I love the cartridge with my 22 and 23 but Ive personally found the 26s to be more appealing. Say I were planning to EDC it, would it worth it to spend 400 on an OEM upper or a KKM conversion barrel for 200? Its rather hard to find second hand 26 complete uppers unless someone can point me to a direction. either way, thanks.
