Options on hfw

Hi everyone,

So I'm planning on buying hfw in a couple of weeks. I just need to finish the dlc on the first game then I can start the second game. I have watched some gameplay and it looks good. I have also read mixed reviews for hfw but I'm honestly taking them with a grain of salt. So my question is In y'all's honest opinion is it worth playing?
