Stop using arbitrage bots with high daily profits of 10 ETH
Stop using arbitrage bots with high daily profits of 10 ETH and similar in YouTube, with over 10,000 victims, and same smart contract scam (Analysis + Safe Alternative).
I've been a Solidity auditor for 4 years, and lately, I've seen too many people getting rug-pulled by these flash loan videos popping up on YouTube.
I reverse-engineered the popular "MEV Bot v2", that's been trending. Guess what? It has a hidden getIncome() function in line 84 that sends YOUR funds to the creator's wallet.
They obfuscate it using assembly {} blocks so the platfrom doesn't flag it. DO NOT USE IT!
However, the concept of "MEV arbitrage" itself isn't a scam, it's how miners & exchanges intake money all over the markets. The problem is the code you're given.
But, if you actually want to learn how this works without getting drained, there's a forked, original and clean open-source version (before scammers ruined it) and is patched the security vulnerabilities. Here is the CLEAN source: pastebin.c0m/T2DVahtn
Changes that is made in its code:
-
Removed the backdoor withdrawal function.
-
Hardcoded the router addresses so they can't be spoofed.
Test it with lowest strategy first, if you don't believe me. Don't be greedy, real arbitrage profit isn't the 10 ETH daily, these scammers promise. Stay safe out there.
