How is your "outside my culture" marriage coming along?

There is a trend here to create space for marriage outside your culture. Are there people here who married outside their culture? How is that coming along? What unites you together? What are the challenges and the plus points of your own marriage compared to others.

I am not a Muslim (at least yet) but Id love to know.
