Beyond Confused Diagnosis CARE ADHD

General Questions/Advice/Support

Hi everyone, first time poster here.

I had my assessment with CARE ADHD a couple weeks ago and a follow-up a couple days ago. Despite my clear symptoms, they labelled me inconclusive due to lack of childhood evidence, which I think is dumb but that's another story. Anyway, I just got the email with the report.

The email says I am positive and is offering me treatment, while the attached report still says inconclusive.

I believe strongly that I have ADHD and require treatment. I was going to seek a second opinion after the report came, but now I don't know what to do.

Should I try and get the medication or is that going to blow up in my face? Is this just an administrative error or is someone at CARE looking out for me?

I know I should probably ask them, but part of me is tempted to try anyway lol

aghhhhhh

Sincerely,
a confused dude
