BP off a hornet

Gunned down a hornet on damn battlegrounds.. normal daytime map settings and when I looted it I received a heavy gun part blueprints. Is this unheard of? I have never heard of that being a thing… didn’t the game have an update in the last 24 hours too? I didn’t see anything about arc enemies dropping BP. Have any of you gotten lucky like this?
