What's your process when looking for a song to put on your playlist?

When I look for a new (well, new to me) song, I immediately skim it. If it's not in a key I like, I don't bother listening. Takes a few seconds. Regardless of the lyrics.

It's how I was able to get through over 100 Van Halen songs in 30 minutes, before finding the few I like. (Dreams, Love Walks In, Jump.)
