I have a Mid 2018 MacBook Pro

2.9 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i9

Radeon Pro 555X 4 GB

Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB

32 GB 2400 MHz DDR4

I’ve had it since 2018 and have never felt I was limited resource wise, but more and more apps are just for silicone so I am now looking to upgrade. I use it like a desktop so Mac mini seems to be best for my needs.

I use serato pro, audacity, a few other light weight audio programs, and other daily driver work. Out of the below which would be a good fit. From what I’ve read M4 should do the job, is 8 GB URAM, and 256 GB SSD more worth $400 ( I’m planning on upgrading the SSD and get a thunderbolt storage dock
