Am I the first person to notice We Gotta Power and the Danger Zone song from Top Gun have incredibly strong similarities in parts of the chorus?

Like its undeniable. From the moment I first heard the song years ago, I immediately was like "why does this sound like Danger Zone?" XD. But when I tried looking up if anyone else before me has discussed the similarity, surprisingly i found nothing. In case you don't believe me, just listen to the two songs choruses back to back and you'll immediately be like "waittt oh shittt" 🤣.

Other than that, the songs are both very different from each other apart from their high energy sound, but that one resemblance is just way too strong to not be pointed out i think. Im pretty sure Top Gun was popular in Japan at the time of its release, so it is very much possible the singer accidentally made that part of the song thinking it was original, when it was actually a pre-existing catchy melody just silently hidden in the deep crevices of his memory. I beleive stuff like that frequently occurs all the time in popular music.

Nonetheless both songs are great and can stand on their own. Im just shocked I couldn't really find anyone else pointing it out to be honest
