Just inherited 2million in property from my father. How can I make it grow to 10million?(southern California)

Long story short, I inherited two homes from my father, one wish for me to fulfill: To grow it to 10million at least.

Besides investing in stocks, how can I grow it to 10million? I’m living in one (valued 850k) The other house (1.2m).

Above me having a home, I would like to carry out my father’s wish, even if it meant not living in the home.

Is keeping both properties the best option? Selling both and investing in an apartment complex?
