Post-op people: anyone get “flares” months or years later?

I’m 10 months post-op and up until now have done fairly well. But starting at Thanksgiving, I’ve had all my pre-op symptoms come back; GERD fired back up, stomach pain, bright yellow diarrhea, etc.

I’m assuming it’s mostly diet driven because of when it started and well because I ate like an animal for over a month. I hope now that I’m back in my routine, things will settle down. I have an appointment with GI in a few weeks to discuss.
