Eli Lily is in advanced talks to acquire Ventyx Biosciences for over $1 billion, alongside multiple other M&A deals reported on January 7th including KKR’s acquisition of Mentee Robotics. Eliy Lily is collaborating with Nimbus Therapeutics to develop oral obesity drugs. The overall weight loss market is projected to reach almost $100 billion by the end of the decade.
