Is there any relevance to Kevin's patient?

Is this patient that needed seen as an emergency anything significant? The patient has been mentioned a few times, and Kevin himself just arrived back in town. Are they hearing up for this patient to be a storyline, or is it nothing? Recall Ryan chamberlain etc etc and that storyline. Now we see Kevin may be again leaving.
