Taking APAT at a different location than my assigned field office?

I passed my SAEE a little over a week ago. When I contacted my assigned field office (Richmond) to see if there was an estimation of testing dates so I could provide ample notice to my employer for taking off, I was told there were no testing dates for the foreseeable future and to continue monitoring my email.

Is it possible to ask about taking my test at another location, pending availability? Where I’m located, D.C. and Baltimore aren’t much farther away than Richmond and I’m pretty eager to knock this part of the process out as soon as I can.
