Great story/worldbuilding & also very graphic intimacy (seeking well-written slowburn recs that don't fade to black)?

So... A Memory Called Empire by Arkady Martine unlocked something in me. Getting really invested into the world and the characters just made everything towards the end of the book so much more impactful.

So I'm looking for something similar - but with more focus on romance and more smutty. A great story, a complex setting, deep characters - and then some great and graphic sapphic romance on top.

Any recommendations?
