Issues with Spiral Mode: Unwanted internal lines and visible seam in Bambu Studio

Question

Hi everyone, I’m running into some issues while trying to slice this model in Spiral Vase mode.

  1. Unwanted internal lines: As you can see in the screenshot, there are straight lines crossing the top opening. It looks like the slicer is trying to bridge or fill a top surface that shouldn't be there.
  2. Visible seam: Even though I have "Spiral Vase" mode enabled, there is a very noticeable vertical line/seam running down the side. I thought spiral mode was supposed to be a continuous path without a Z-seam.

Details:

  • Printer: Bambu Lab P2S
  • Slicer: Bambu Studio
  • Settings: Spiral Vase mode is ON.

Does anyone know why the slicer is generating these paths and how I can get a clean, continuous spiral print without these artifacts? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
