What is being ignored in this situation is that the criticism directed at Gracie did not arise from harassment, jealousy, or a single interpersonal conflict. It arose from a documented pattern of behavior that is objectively harmful, exploitative, and deceptive.

For an extended period of time, Gracie and her boyfriend produced and circulated staged content portraying an abusive relationship. These were not disclosures made in the context of seeking safety or resources; they were performed skits, intentionally crafted to appear real, designed to evoke panic, sympathy, and trauma responses in viewers many of whom are survivors of abuse themselves. This distinction matters. Simulating abuse for entertainment or fundraising is not advocacy; it is exploitation. It re-exposes survivors to trauma for profit and conditions audiences to respond emotionally rather than critically.

During this period, Gracie solicited and received significant financial support from followers totaling around 30k under the narrative that funds were necessary to escape an abusive partner and rebuild her life. However, despite repeated claims of leaving, she never actually left the relationship. Even a cross-country trip, framed publicly as an escape effort, ended with her returning to the same partner. Continuing to collect money under the premise of imminent separation while remaining in the relationship constitutes material misrepresentation, regardless of how sympathetic the narrative appears.

When scrutiny began to surface, responsibility was not taken. Instead, blame was redirected toward a private individual, MK, who has been repeatedly harassed, targeted, and emotionally terrorized online for years. MK is being framed as the cause of Gracie’s public backlash, despite the fact that the backlash is a direct result of Gracie’s own documented actions. This scapegoating tactic is common in influencer fraud cases: accountability is displaced onto a single person to deflect from systemic misconduct.

The pattern continued with animal-related fundraising. Cats already in Gracie’s care were later reintroduced to her audience as “new rescues” connected to a renewed abuse-escape narrative. One cat with a visibly injured leg has reportedly gone over a year without receiving veterinary care, despite donations collected for that purpose. Another cat has been shown to be ill with parasites. Soliciting funds for animal welfare while failing to provide basic medical care is not negligence in isolation it is part of a broader pattern of crisis monetization.

Most concerning is the repeated use of suicidal threats and self-harm content in response to being questioned or criticized. Posting videos of self-harm or threatening suicide when confronted functions as emotional blackmail. It coerces silence, shifts focus away from the issue at hand, and weaponizes mental health crises against an audience that is already emotionally invested. This behavior is deeply harmful not only to viewers, but to people genuinely struggling with suicidal ideation, whose experiences are trivialized and exploited.

The harm here is not abstract. This conduct:

	•	Re-traumatizes abuse survivors by simulating violence for profit

	•	Exploits empathy and survivor communities for financial gain

	•	Undermines legitimate fundraising and advocacy efforts

	•	Endangers animals while using them as emotional leverage

	•	Normalizes manipulation through threats of self-harm

	•	Harasses and scapegoats private individuals to avoid accountability

This is why Gracie is being called a scammer not because of MK, not because of “haters,” and not because of misunderstandings. She is being called a scammer because her narratives change while the money keeps flowing, because crises are repeatedly manufactured or prolonged, and because accountability is consistently replaced with deflection, intimidation, and emotional coercion.

Calling this out is not cruelty. It is necessary harm reduction. Allowing these behaviors to continue unchecked enables further exploitation of survivors, of donors, of animals, and of the very people whose compassion is being weaponized against them.

This isn’t even delving into the first gofundme she had to bail Bobby out either. This is just the most current of cons she’s had.

Below is an explanation of why and what I’ve been posting. Any questions are welcome I’ll do my best to explain for everyone new here
