CMV: Europe is, unfortunately, too weak and toothless to do anything militarily if the US actually invade Greenland.

Yes, Greenland is psrt of NATO; but I'm very skeptical that Europe actually have the will defend Greenland, even once Denmark invoked Article 5..

Let's say the US carried out multiple surgical strikes in Greendland, to crippled Greenland's defenses and critical infrastructures,. US troops/SOF then moved in (there are already many US troops there IIRC) to seized control, and even abducted the PM of Greenland. Would Europe retaliate militarily? I doubt it.

Europe is unfortunately too weak to do anything, and would just send out "strongly worded" condemnation as the US completely seized Greenland.

In fact - IIRC - the US already have significant control of the EU defense and infrastructures - there are already many US trrop stationed there.

Not to mention the fact that Europe is already too occupied with the Russian - Urkraine war.

Basically Europe would be going up against BOTH the US and Russia.

All in all, I highly doubt the EU would dare to retaliate militarily against the US in this scenario.
