My baby can’t be left alone ever.

My baby is 14 months and I’m due with baby #2 in 3 weeks. I’ve been a stay at home mom since birth and she’s never spent a day without me HOWEVER I have tried to get her introduced to other people as much as I can. It’s hard because we’re a military family in Europe and our family is back home in the states so there’s not alot of people to really leave her with BUT we have tried. With my husbands coworkers and other families. Today I took her to a play date with a bunch of littles and had another mom who we’ve played with before watch her for literally two minutes while I ran to the bathroom. When I got back she was wailing and extremely upset and nothing would calm her down. I’m worried about giving birth and leaving her. Is there anything I can do get her used to other people or is this just a stage? She is fine with my husband but outside of us she freaks out. Even when we went home for the summer and stayed with family it took her almost two weeks to let others hold her and even then we had to be in the room.

With baby number two coming so soon, I’m scared and anxious she’s too attached to my husband and I. She’s so clingy and wants to held 24/7.😭
