How long do I wait to have an appt after going to hospital for insurance reasons?

I know the title is wonky but I have been developing carpal tunnel in my right wrist and normally it isnt too bad but the last couple weeks it has progressively getting worse by the day...

I am under my das insurance that he gets through work and my mom has recently gotten brain surgery but has had a few MRI's since the beginning of the year. So really she should have used up all the copay or claims (whatever it is called).

How long should I wait to go see a doctor about my wrist, asuuming i'll have to get an xray, I cant afford to get anything done right now besides the $30 copay for the appintment.

Oline shows it takes from 3 weeks to sometimes over 3 months for it to post on our insurance... I can't work with my wrist like this right now so I need to go in immediately.
