Is Accounting really a good choice?
I’m currently a junior (sophomore in the major) in college because I transferred in from a CC and just switched my major to accounting and I felt really excited about it. I was riddled between that or Biology but I didn’t know what I wanted to do with a Bio degree so I chose accounting.
I feel like I made a mistake because now all of a sudden people are saying all these bad things about it and saying how hard the classes are and how you needed to do internships starting your freshman year and what not and it makes me feel like I’m behind and people are saying it’s likely you won’t get a job after graduation if you don’t have a CPA or have any internships under your belt and is that true? Like am I finished before I even start?!?!
