Maduro has been a long goal of the US empire; if a Democrat had made strikes against Venezuela would anyone treat it as a distraction. I feel like I see it from well meaning libs who are acting like this is a nothing burger, when in fact it is a huge deal. Trump threatening invading a member of NATO? That is fucking insane! And even if it is a distraction (which it’s not really if it is just his political goal) we still have to deal with the consequences. Just seems a kind of dismissive attitude
