Question About Pots

My guitar (Jackson X Series Soloist™ SLX DX) has 2 active pickups, one tone knob, one volume knob and a 3-way switch

I'm going to change from active pickups (that came with my guitar when it was new) and toss in a set of Seymour Duncan Mayhem pickups

The wiring diagrams at Seymour Duncan are great and I have lots of soldering experience

But I also need to select pots - should I get 500K pots for these pickups?

Any suggestions for the 3-way switch? I'm assuming the original switch is fine but who knows - maybe it would be best to just replace the switch and the output jack also?
