Common essential problems?

Hi, I’ve been thinking about joining the military but I’ve known a few people who had gone and they said the amount essentials needed for hygiene and stuff is hard to get especially if ur deployed. I was wondering how it works if ur a woman since we have periods and stuff or just basic hygiene stuff in general. Can anyone tell me what it’s like going through those experiences?
