Most parents don't know what to feed their kids/ Parents feeding their kids crap

RANT

I hate parents and breeders. Today I was hit by yet more reasons why most people who have kids are straight up evil. Most people really should not have them, it is that simple. Why do you need a drivers license but no parent license???

Just because everyone is eating it or you are eating it doesn't mean you should feed your kids the same unhealthy foods you are munching! Science is already so advanced that we know refined carbs are bad as they cause blood sugar spikes and glycation leading to premature aging etc. We know white sugar is bad. We know Brown rice is better than white rice. We know lean proteins are good. My point is, you can enjoy scientifically questionable things as an adult. But WHY do people feed their kids the same thing? Parents should only feed kids whatever is scientifically PROVEN to be super healthy. Everything else is literal abuse omg I can't stand watching people feed their kids all that crap....

Even being poor is not an excuse imo. You get a good amount of healthy porridge with fruits, no sugar etc for very little. Eating healthy was even cheaoer for me.

Until kids are adults parents should only feed them VERY healthy food imo. Whole grain, no sugar, healthy fats, make sure all vitamins are present every day etc.

If the kids occasionally indulge over at friends etc. That will still be balanced out. But most likely they won't even crave unhealthy food or fast food. I grew up with a friend who was raised on healthy food only. She once tried another friends croissant and spit it out it was so gross to her. That's how it should be!! Omg. It's so important what you eat during your development and yet parents feed their kids the same crap THEY eat. And if they do the extremely healthy parent thing other parents DARE to weigh in and claim they are abusing tneir kids. So many peopel try to feed other peoples kids sugar...

Until they are adults and old enough to be interested in their own health and think of consequences I swear it is abuse to not force them to be super healthy. They can never turn it back and later on they might be like me and look back at their childhood and teens and wonder how good they COULD have felt like as a kid with a fast metabolism, eating heatlhy.

I personally grew up mostly healthy but there was so much bread, potatoes, refined carbs. It was the main source of nutrition. Some veggies, fruits, no fast food, sugar in rare occasions. I felt okay. But I lacked proteins, vitamins and healthy fats, definitely. And carbs are really bad for me personally which I only knew after cutting most out as an adult. After turning 25, only now that my frontal lobe developed, I fully understood how important what you eat is. I started looking back and feeling sick at all the things I was fed growing up even though it was relatively 'healthy'. It was far from optimal and I'm angry now. I developed a condition and will not live more than 10 years from now. I completely switched up my diet and it is super clean now. The way I feel is amazing!! Even though I'm no longer as 'healthy' as I used to be, and I'm gonna bite the grass, the feeling healthy foods give isme makes me feel so much better than I ever felt before. It got me thinking. If I ate like this all along...

Was I robbed of quality of life??

I love my mom. But did she rob me of quality of life because of her love for pasta, bread ect.? I obviously don't react well to these foods at all. Dairy neither. And after learning what white sugar actually does to your body I regret every single time I ate it. It literally is irreparable damage. If you want to do it to yourself as an ADULT fine. But feeding kids sugar is literally abuse as you are harming their bodies practically against their will. They are not old enough yet to comprehend what's happening. They are not a 'finished product' and depend on you to give them the best quality of life possible. Whic I think means denying them uhealthy foods no matter how much they cry. Kids who grew up like that usually thank their parents later. They are healthy and happy and glowing. And yet it is socially accepted, even inforced to 'not be too strict'...

It is insane to me that I know peple who got sick due to decades of bad diet or diets that were extra bad for them individually who, when confronting their parents heard stuff like: "Well YOU could have chosen not to eat these things. At least as a teen you would be old enough to decide for yourself." When that is so wrong. How many teens care about their diet? Maybe if it is a social media trend. ANd what do kids know about diets? Everytime parents feed kids crap they are actively abusing a to-be-adult.

Not to mention our metabolism slows down at 20 before it stays about the same until 60. Most people who turn 20 do not realize their body is no longer that of a teens and keep up their bad eating habits causing permanent damage or damage that is only mostly reversible with years of cleansing diets. Only in their mid to late twenties do most get into health if at all. And people like to deny how bad the damage you do until then is but the science is all there. I just have to compare my friends. The ones who grew up healthy and the ones who didn't and even in their early twenties the difference is insane. The healthy ones don't even look like they aged past 18, are much happier, brighter, have faster reaction time, just healthy young people. Meanwhile the other ones sgart to age and get cranky or tired more easily as early as early 20's. It seems subtle as it is the norm. Most people won't even notice it. But it seems very obvious if you have a good comparison with a very healthy person. And you think...AHh... That's how it should be. That's how everyone COULD be.

How many peoples food choices would be different if they grew up on healthy foods? How many of them will never experience what it feels like to be young in top health? To me, even a 'balanced' diet with some indulgences is still an unhealthy diet. But point this out and people will call you, what is it... orthorexic. SMH. It as all so fcked if you really start thinking about it. People are robbed of quality of life because parents don't give their kids what they actually need but whatever. Being on a clean diet is bliss. Suddenly all the irritated, disturbed, tired people make sense.

Makes me wonder how good it could have been had this been my diet during my teens. I will never get my teens back. HOw many parents do you know who get their kids to be healthy, no excuses?

TLDR: Parents should feed their kids very healthy foods only despite what kids want or what is social norm. They are not 'themselves yet' and parents are abusing them by feedng them crap basically against their will. But most parents get absolutely offended if anyone critiques what they are doing with their kids. Another reason why I hate parents.
