Is this really the only Franzen page?

This to me is very weird. It was also weird to me when I went looking for a Kindle library loan of The 27th City and neither the Los Angeles library nor the Louisville library had a copy. Anyhow, I am looking to read the original preface to The 27th City. I have the 25th anniversary edition in paperback with the great forward by Weinstein in which he references the original preface and I’d like to read it if anybody can help me out.
