Hi, long time lurker, first time posting here. Really hoping for some quality advice!

My old laptop with the below explained specs died an unfortunate death after I spilled a glass of lemonade over it, including keys and everything. It shut off after that and I did try to restart but it did not work. Then I immediately disconnected power and laid it on a towel, but did not open it (probably should have, to remove important parts)? This was about 3 months ago.

The specs were:
Lenovo Legion Y540
Core i5 9300h
32 gb RAM-think its DDR4 (photos)
Nvidia Geforce RTX 2060 GPU
Screen was 1080p IPS 144hz.
I will post photos of the hard drives but think it was:
1TB Samsung SSD and 512gb NVMe (photos)

I have now opened the laptop and removed the RAM, SSD and NVMe (photos).

How would I go about testing if these parts are still working?
Will the CPU be fried anyways?

I saved up to buy a MSI Cyborg 15 - 15.6" | RTX 5070 | Core i7 | 16GB | 1TB laptop that im now using. Love the upgrade.

But, its a shame to waste the parts from my old laptop if they could be used.

There should be room for example for the SSD? I

Could I ruin the new laptop by trying to connect the other SSD in the New laptop? Would i break it if I tried to connect the SSD and its already toasted?

Are all the components probably fried and should be discarded as trash?

Would really appreciate some input from you guys!

Sorry for the long post.
