Possible reherniation after microdiscectomy 8 months ago

Hi everyone, me (30F) dealt with L4-L5 disc herniation for several years and finally had microdiscectomy about 8 months ago. The recovery went well and after 3 months, I was fully recovered. No more pain, until 2 weeks ago! I was lying down on my bed and for no reason started to have shooting pain in my back. I tried to ignore it thinking maybe it's just a small flare up. After 5 minutes I stood up and walked downstairs and the shooting pain started getting worse until I was afraid to move my back at all, so asked my partner to help me get to bed and got better after 10 minutes. Since then I have been feeling some sort of ache in my lower back most time and have shooting pains occasionally in my lower back, hips, and sometimes in my leg. Honestly, it's not too bad and pre op was wayyyy worse than what I'm experiencing now. I don't wanna call my doctor because I'm afraid that he might tell me that I may have reherniated, so wanted to reach out to this community to see if anyone has felt like this before and to your experience, how likely it is that this is just a flare up?
