Looking for multicultural friends for deep chats and foodie stuff! (uptown only)

I love learning about different cultures and talking about how life is going for them and myself(although I've been living here for decades) in this multicultural environment called Toronto. I've been having a lot of fun meeting people from different backgrounds, learning about their culture, languages, but most of all, being able to connect and build a real human bond has been the best part regardless of our backgrounds!! I think this is one of the best thing Toronto can bring, and I'd like to make the most of this opportunity as much as I can 😁 So I'd like to meet people who I don't know much about where they come from(or their parents? since we have a lot of people who grew up from immigrant families as a 2nd gen) 😄 The regions I'm focusing on are the following:

  • Africa
  • Central & South America
  • Europe
  • Middle East
  • Oceania

It'd be the best if you are good with both small or big hangouts, and are naturally curious about people and want to care for people 🤗

From my experience, you'd fit the best with my friends and I, if you:

  • Foodies: We love trying different cuisines across the city
  • Laid-back vibes: We don’t need "crazy" activities every week. We prefer a nice walk, a good chat, and exploring the city on foot
  • No substances in general: We are a non-smoking group and don’t really drink unless it’s a party/celebration
  • Demographic: Most of us are between 25-40, but as long as you’re comfortable with that range, any age is okay!
  • Locations: Usually our hangouts are in North York, Scarborough, Markham and the general uptown areas. (But mostly near subway lines)
  • High EQ: We really don't get along with people who can't read social cues or very awkward in social settings, have no respect for personal boundaries

So if you're interested, please send me a DM with a quick intro and we can chat! I don't want you to talk about your personal stuff in the comments 😂
