Finished HL1, now, onto HL2. I GET IT NOW

I got the hl series during its anniversary or sometime I believe when it was given away for free on steam. I remember playing a similar looking game and figured out recently that it was HL2, as the memory of the game had faded since I picked it up and I sort of jumbled my memory of this game with "Timeshift".

I don't want to finish HL2 now that I've finished HL1 as I might just have to wait like all you guys for eons, high on hopium for HL3. But I do get it why people go crazy because, no first person shooter game of recent times has been able to hit the vibe that HL provides.

Its just the immersion on this game is so damn high, I even tried HL Alyx on Quest 2 and was just blown away by visuals that I just grabbed random objects hitting it and throwing it wherever and have 0 progress made since then.

I believe both HL1 and 2 have a realm of its own. But it also created hopium monsters which this subreddit has no short of. Hopefully, valve puts some of the memes from this subs as decals on hl3 for all the Insanity this subreddit has seen so far. But even that's hopium.
