Did Cap even do anything in the MCU?

In TFA he doesn’t really defeat Red Skull… then in The Avengers he’s practically useless against Loki. And his plan during the Battle of New York doesn’t work.

He doesn’t even defeat Bucky in TWS. Maybe he could, but he doesn’t.

In AoU he can’t really do much against Ultron.

For Civil War, he actually does really good directing his at the start. And I guess he does good against Stark until Friday analyzes his fight pattern. He does win eventually, but not ‘directly’.

In IW, he basically does nothing against Thanos except hold his hand back a few seconds.

Endgame? Holy shit, him knocking Thanos around was peak, but it quickly ends with him getting fucked up.

And now, the prevailing theory is that he fucked up the timeline and caused the incursions.

Has Cap really just been more of useless hero, or a troublemaker?
