Sleeping at altitude (skiing holiday)

My UARS is pretty well managed now with CPAP, but last week I was away in Italy, sleeping at around 1600m and my sleep really went downhill. I was much more restless and actively waking in the night.

I’m wondering whether there are any other skiers here who have worked out how to adjust things for altitude?

The hotel was very warm, I turned my room thermostat down to 20 degrees and keep the window open. The air was very dry, my CPAP humidifier emptied overnight while I was away vs every 2 days at home.
