Questions regarding FN FAL and Sniping from HELI

Item No. 1: FN FAL - What the fuck is wrong with this gun? I'm trying to tame and understand this shit but I can't. Simply can't.

1. As a battle rifle, the recoil and rate of fire are too much for full auto beyond close range. But tap fire is not as reliable (whether in terms of accuracy, bullet drop, velocity, or damage) as other battle rifles (especially G3) or DMRs. And in BB, you either burst your target down or he'll just worm his way out.
2. With such a high rate of fire, you'll think it might have a place in close quarter. Nope. Other guns are better laser pointers at close range with better TTK.
3. I look at old posts on FN Fal. Many people praised this gun. It got nerved so bad or something?

Item No. 2: Sniping from HELI - Has anyone ever try that? I saw people builting the tower of Babylon and that make me think. Why has no one ever try sniping from heli?
