Embarks approach to fixing bugs is terrible

Discussion

Hi,

I love this game.

With that out of the way - what the hell is going on with the bug-fix team on embark studios? As a software developer myself I was baffled at the time it took them to fix the "glitch through locked door" glitch, and in the end - they still opted for the band-aid community suggested solution to just burn players who enters.

This time with the "shooting through the wall exploit", it once again baffles me that they haven't solved this yet. It's obvious that they will need to keep finding these spots as they are discovered, and even then they will never fully be rid of these spots. The only solution that truly makes sense is to make walls stop bullets from both sides - like why didn't anyone think of that within 5 minutes of discovering this issue? I understand the objection could be that "such a solution doesn't solve the actual issue", and while that may be true in theory, it does make the community happy enough to let them look at the issue long term going forward.

Also, instead of nerfing the stitcher - why not just buffing the bobcat to have a larger base mag? That way the stitcher stays competitive against other weapons, while the bobcat keeps it's insane TTK but still has a better total potential damage output, which is the only aspect where the stitcher wins right now!

The overall approach to bug fixing is extremely low quality compared to the overall game.
